'A landmark exhibition' SOMA magazine‹ Extra Art, is the first comprehensive, international survey of artists ephemera. It focuses on rarely examined printed works in ephemeral formats such as mailed art, invitations, badges, postcards, posters, propaganda, advertisements and primary documents. The exhibition presents approximately five hundred works, spanning a range of art movements - from conceptual art, Fluxus and pop art, to minimalism, visual poetry and arte povera. ›World Premiere: Liebeslied/My Suicides‹
This is a ground-breaking collaboration between artist and photographer Rut Blees Luxemburg, philosopher Alexander Garcia Düttmann, composer Paul Clark and choreographer Tom Sapsford. Based on Luxemburg's photographs, Liebeslied/My Suicides is an experimental opera, which investigates the relationship between an artist, a writer and a lover.
